PROROGUING PARLIAMENT MEANS
ANTI- SUICIDE BOMBING Bill S-205
MUST START AGAIN!

            After unanimous passage in the Senate, Bill S-205 had all 
            party support and was in a House Committee with only one 
            vote remaining. But a new Parliament in March means we
            must start again for the fifth time in four and a half years!

            However, if a new Senate Bill with the same wording as 
            S-205 passes three readings within 60 sitting days it can 
            move to where it was in the House Committee before 
            proroguing. As Senator Grafstein has retired we will ask 
            another Senator to sponsor the Bill and seek rapid passage.
