Suicide Bombing has become a principle weapon of terrorists around the world. The number of bombings and people killed and maimed, has become too numerous for CANASB resources to follow. Individual pages have, therefore, been rewritten to highlight the most important events and other events may be added as resources allow.
Chinese officials claim Chinese mineworkers were targeted in a July 19th 2007 bombing in Pakistan when over 140 people were killed in the week. China believes this is part of an Islamic campaign.
January 2006,
Minle County, Gansu Province:
A villager named Qian Wenzhao bombed a county government conference, killing himself and a key figure in the county government. Five others were severely wounded while another 17 suffered minor injuries.
April 5, 2006, SichuanProvince:
At the Intermediate People's Court in GuangyuanCity, A man dashed into the civil court and activated explosives, killing himself and wounding the judge.
