Suicide Bombing has become a principle weapon of terrorists around the world. The number of bombings and people killed and maimed, has become too numerous for CANASB resources to follow. Individual pages have, therefore, been rewritten to highlight important events and others may be added as resources allow.
Suicide bombers struck twice in late April 2006 killing 25 people. President Hosni Mubarak vowed to continue the "battle with terrorism".
Egyptian Embassy Attack, November 19, 1995:
A suicide bomber drove a vehicle into the Egyptian Embassy compound in Islamabad, Pakistan, killing at least 16 and injuring 60 persons. Three militant Islamic groups claimed responsibility.
